Operating on a non-profit model, the journal is committed to the free exchange of ideas and JLIPR charges no publication fees (APCs) to its contributors. Published bi-annually, JLIPR provides a rigorous platform for researchers and practitioners to explore the evolving intersection of legal frameworks and innovation. Its mission focuses on high-quality, peer-reviewed content that remains accessible to the global academic community, ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder the dissemination of legal knowledge.

Journal of Law and Intellectual Property Rights (JLIPR) is a not-for-profit publication by Council of Industrial Innovation and Research, Noida, India. Council of Industrial Innovation and Research is an associate organization of Ennoble IP that offers one of the best Intellectual Property Rights consultancy services in India. The Journal’s mission is to present articles that analyze the fundamental issues affecting intellectual property rights, the changing climate of different intellectual property areas, and issues and opinions surrounding recent judicial opinions and how they may affect the future of intellectual property rights, among others. Additionally, its objective is to enhance the network between lawyers including academics, practitioners and researches, and sharing current legal issues in an academic way. Average number of weeks between article submission and subsequent publication is 4-5 weeks. The long-term preservation of open access journal articles is one of the essential criteria and JLIPR believes that it is an extremely important business process which a publisher of academic content should commit to. All the articles published by JLIPR preserved at the archives of the journal.
